I can say that Travel is my drug and I can’t stop thinking about the next one

The reason to travel…

My passion is discover new places and people. I can have the opportunity to meet different places and I’m really grateful for this. I’m used to say that the places are made by people that lives there but also by the ones that for some reason or for destination decided to spend their time there, or for holidays, backpacking, gap years or just for a time to discover themselves. Theses ones that I crossed for the last 10 months, changed who I’m and, mainly, my way of thinking about the life. More than the beautiful landscapes, sunsets, sunrises, waterfalls, beaches, mountains, forest, cathedral, temples, different foods and costumes, everyone who took part of this journey now is part of me and of who I became. They shared with me their time, experiences, thoughts, fears, plans, stories and listened what I had to share with them. Been in a broken boat, hiking for hours, long journeys in buses and airports and also at the hospital, I had time to talk about things that really matter and these were such great moments that it is impossible to describe. So… for this reason, I can say that Travel is my drug and I can’t stop thinking about the next one.

Why Bangkok?

First time I went to Bangkok it was my first city in my Asian Trip. I stayed there for 7 days and I felt in love with the city. I discovered a place with such a different culture, beautiful temples and friendly people, that I couldn’t stay just for this time. So when I was finishing my trip, I decided to go back and stay my last days there. So I choose the Yim hostel to spend more 12 days, trying to understand the real Thai culture, food, neighborhood and people! I loved everyone I met working there for these days.
